On the week I watched the bathurst 1000 on channel seven the race was on sunday and it started at ten o clock there were thirty one cars in the race.I wished there was Fifty Five just like the old days.The race was 161 laps long around 6 hours.There wasnt much safety car
periods.It was a pretty safe race but moto racing dangerous when your going that fast.
The race was won by Mark Skaife And Craig Lowdens in the vodafone racing commodore.

2nd was Jamie Whincup and Steve Owen in the second vodafone racing commodore.

And 3rd was Garth Tander and Cameron Mcconville in the black and white holden racing team
